Lindy
Lindy is a free spirit. She doesn't believe in living "by the rules." This includes her relationships. She's independent and doesn't want a man tying her down. In her own words, she only needs a man for one thing and that's all she wants him around for.
When it comes to her friendships, though, she's totally committed. Her best friend, Meg, often needs a shoulder to lean on, and Lindy is always there for her. She tries to help Meg gain some confidence so that she doesn't feel so desperate for a relationship.
She's also concerned about her friend, Stan, who is engaged to marry Lindy's sister, Rachel. Lindy loves her sister, but they have different priorities and she's concerned that Rachel will shatter his dreams of becoming a writer.
But Lindy's about to discover that her free spirit might just be a little too free.
