Frog Island Films produces high-quality, low-budget features, shorts, documentaries and music videos. Using the latest in digital video technology coupled with industry-leading non-linear editing systems, we are able to achieve Hollywood-like results without the tinsel town price tag.

Founded in 2004, Frog Island Films is a sister organization to Frog Island Creative Services. The "Films" side of the business was born out of a number of corporate video productions and an experimental (and very bad) MiniDV version of the classic film, "The Maltese Falcon." The goal was to establish a production company completely dedicated to little or no-profit creative projects for the purpose of promoting digital video as a viable and artistic alternative to film.

Today our Southeast Michigan-based studio focuses on utilizing local talent and locations to bring quality, Detroit-flavored entertainment to the big screen. All of our productions are from original screenplays written by Frog Island Creative Services or the many talented writers and filmmakers in the area.
